Measurement Practice and Challenge!

Dear Students:

I hope that you are home practicing for your wax museum performance, playing flash card games, or typing away at the Typing Club site.  I too am working hard to catch up on a pile of papers and projects.  Even though it’s nice to have a little extra time to be at home, don’t forget your school responsibilities.

I’ve put together a list of new and exciting measurement websites that I challenge you to explore in your free time today or later this week.  You may also find lots of measurement games on our favorite sites such as gamequarium.com or the Shepherd Software site (both available from the Tuckahoe links page).  But, if you are looking for something new, try these:

Keep track of your playtime and you can earn a prize in the classroom.  You will need a parent to validate your time either by sending an email or signing a note that you’ve written stating your earned minutes.

Bronze medal                      30 minutes

Silver medal                         45 minutes

Gold medal                           60 minutes or more!

Have fun today and stay safe.  I look forward to seeing you tomorrow at school!

Ms. Coffman
